My process is also my philosophy .... be prepared with a lesson plan and then be flexible enough to go with what is actually happening in any given class.

Most important to me is to work with each student individually... to find where they want to go with their studio experience, and facilitate their process if possible.

I have lots of information, skills, and experience, and am equally as interested in talking about technique as I am in brainstorming about visual or conceptual ideas with students. One of my challenges is to learn to impart what I know a little bit at a time. My tendency is to want to give it all at once...I am excited by the idea of sharing.
